I think I'm gonna have to get my lazy backside out of the house a couple of late nights and see if I can put one of these hides on a wall.

Steve,we butchered a deer my son-in-law killed the week before and took what was left up back and put it in front of the trail camera. What you see is what's left of the rib cage.

Dick, those are coyotes.we have no wolves in Pa.They are pretty good sized although my buddy who is a avid coyote hunter says it's really hard to judge size on these critters.I say the one in the middle looks to be 60 lbs.which would make it a big one for this area. There have been some 70 pounders killed in Pa. over the last couple of years but none real close to me that I am aware of.

Why do you NEED an AR to kill coyotes? Mine have only ever needed one shot, mostly from a Mossberg 22 mag.

They can eat lead. When I lived in the boonies they pretty well wiped out the deer herds, we found lots of dead fawns and a lot more just disappeared. I don't think it was aliens.

We kill everyone we see.In my area of SW Pa they are out of control. So bad neighbor on the adjacent farm quit rasing sheep because of coyote predation.Deer are taking a hit from increased coyote presence.A few wouldn`t be a problem and are necessary to weed out the weak in the herd. This past archery season l shot a nice buck late in the day, went early next morning(daylight) and found him within a half hour, both rear quarters were already eaten.Feel the same towards dogs that are dropped of by people who are too lazy to drop off unwanted dogs at the pound. They seem to think some good hearted land owner will take it in.They turn wild quickly and can be worse than coyotes.

Very well fed coyotes. Before they found that carcass as a matter of fact.

I still shoot 'em when I get the chance, but my heart really isn't in it. They eat a lot of feral cats, and I really hate feral cats. We can stand to have a few deer thinned out around here. My daughter went visiting a friend she used to teach with. They went to the movies. She called me just now and said they dodged seven deer in one 15 mile stretch. The deer are an agricultural pest and a road hazard around here. I don't mind the 'yotes munching on a few of them.
