DIY Shooting Trauma Kit

Not to give them a plug but that would be Bass Pro Shop.
Added some pics with a coke can for size ref. 1st is my camera bag and my old first aid bag. 2nd and 3rd are the flyfishing bag I use for my camera. Larry

I have a similar collection of stuff I carry for the dog when I hunt.

Same stuff, all for people (except certain drugs) same as dogs.

I carry it in a small tackle box.

Provides a nice stable platform when I'm working from it

The rectangular shape makes it easy to pack and stack in the
 
I ended up buying two bags

the one bat guano recommended

and a Condor MA41 Rip Away

I got me two Quick Clot sponges

small sleeves of lube

and we good to go!

My friend was an ER nurse at a hospital in Philly that got the majority of gunshot victims. I asked her about treating gunshot wounds, and her reply was "pack the wound, put a lot of pressure on it, and get to the hospital ASAP." She also said don't waste your time playing doctor, getting to the ER ASAP is the most important thing.
Bingo. A tampon and duct tape do wonders in a pinch...no joke. ;)
