I used to dream of buying a cabin with my brother in some remote and beautiful area to use as an occasional retreat.

Thinking it through, though, I gave up on the idea as I think an unoccupied cabin would be a draw for all sorts of miscreants, leading to considerably more headaches than pleasure for me.

I also wanted a cabin but then I figured I needed a moat with gators, drawbridge,fence with razor wire

Our neighbors on all three sides are working ranchers and they have bulls.
