Actually, Virginia has that (blue) paint law with the option of white paint. The stripe is supposed to be about a foot long, 6 inches wide and on trees about 100 feet apart.

Actually, Virginia has that (blue) paint law with the option of white paint. The stripe is supposed to be about a foot long, 6 inches wide and on trees about 100 feet apart.

Actually by code it is suppose to be purple paint 2"x8" vertical with center of paint between 3' and 6' off the ground on trees, fence posts and road border areas. No distance between painted areas are specified.
