Do Remora holsters make good pocket holsters?

I just purchased a j frame 442 .38, my second handgun, to be my main carry. I currently am carrying a SD9 in a remoria IWB, and I love it. I plan to pocket carry the 442. So as soon as I put the 442 on order I ordered the appropriate sized remoria holster for it.

After reading through some of the posts on the subject, it seems the consensus is a Mika or a Uncle Mikes is the bee's knees in a pocket.

My question is this: Do I need the others in addition to the remora? do any of you pocket carry with their remora holster?

Caveat: I don't often pocket carry but have two (2) pocket holsters and a Remora.

Just did a quick test and the Remora works just fine though it was a bit more difficult to position in my pocket owing to the tacky surface. It is, in fact, quite similar to the DeSantis pocket holster in shape. Test was with a j-frame M60.

Be safe.

Yes and YES(if you asked 2 questions?)
I carry my P238 in pocket with dress slacks(need the deeper pocket) and did not hesitate to get the Remora that fit the
J frame 642 I had just gotten. Couldn't be happier. And, when I'm in jeans I just IWB it. Perfect.

I've used a Remora for pocket carry (642) with good results.

Edit to add: They make good IWB holsters too. Just remember to hang on to the gun if you unbuckle!

Thanks for the input. Can't wait till it comes in.

I have both Remora and Mika which I occasionally use for cargo pocket carry. Like them both but Remora is a little less bulky than Mika so if that is a concern I would have to give the edge to Remora.
