Do you clean your primer pockets??

Gave it up years ago as I saw no benefit to it. These days I wet tumble mostly so it gets done Looks good but probably not necessary

Yes, cleaned every time both rifle and hand gun. Rifle gets uniformed for depth/flatness every other loading and hand gun when they need trimmed. Long range rifle also gets go-no go gauge for pocket expansion when uniformed.

I did the first week I handloaded.

That was 15 years ago and I won’t again. Tumbling with pins gets them good enough.

Yes ... every time !
My Mom used to say "Cleanliness is next to Godliness "
Who doesn't want clean ... Holey Reloads !

I also get more consistent primer seating when they are consistently clean and not layered with built up residue ...
You got to listen to your Mom !

I used to reload pistol cases endlessly. Never cleaned anything. Accuracy didn't suffer. So no then.

After I retired I bought a case cleaner. Now my brass looks clean and shiny. I don't decap prior to cleaning. So no now too.

Yes. It’s part of my inspection process while I check for defects.
I use an RCBS primer pocket cleaner.
One twist=done.

Don’t count on your tumbler to do your work. I’ve seen flash holes obstructed with polish media.

I found the stuff in the attached photo at the range. Someone that day had bad experience with his reloads!
