Do you shoot your nice 27-2's?

Yes shoot your pistol. It has been shot already, and if you take good care of it the pistol will stay as good as it is right now. You probably pose much more threat ti it by handling it and moving it than by the actual act of firing it.

Do I shoot my nice 27-2? I thought that's what they where made for!

Well this is a tough question a double edge sword. I shoot all that I have but one it is a reg. 357 I bought 6 years ago. So far it is juat a safe Queen I have yet to get the history on it.Lately my mind says shoot it they are made to shoot!

Yes I shoot it and yes it's a safe queen.
I have a 4" 27-2 that's probably a 99% gun. I never realized the 4" guns were so scarce until I started on the Forum, and that makes it extra special. I've shot it, although not lately, but I plan to when the range dries out so I can compare it to the 4" 28-2 I bought a few weeks ago.
It's a safe queen because it's the only loaded gun in my Zanotti. Sits right there on the front shelf in case I'm forced at gunpoint to open it. (But keep that fact under your hat).:)

YES!! EVERY CHANCE I get, which is not often enough. I also thoroughly clean it after every shooting, and put a thin coat of wax on it every other month.
Like all Smiths the M-27 was made to use, and I feel it is wrong not to do so within reason.
