Do You Still Own

No. I don't still have the Model 15 I bought in 1979, but I have my second S&W; a Model 66 4" that I've owned since 1987. I shot a Ruger Security Six the in-between years.

Yup!!! I still own, and use a M-67(no dash) from 1976. It's a nice
95%+ shooter, and also my 1st centerfire. I used to own several Ruger Std. .22 Autos.....but have changed my wicked ways since then. Sold the Rugers....now I own all older S&W revolvers.

First S&W

M41 5-1/2" barrel 22 LR for $300 in 1982. All the other Smiths were downhill from there. Still have that 41 with a 2x Luepold scope in Buehler mounts.

My first Smith was a 586 w/ 8 3/8's barrel. I bought the gun three times and sold it three times, (I live in a small town). I hope the final owner doesn't try to sell it to me. I'd have to buy it again.

Good morning gentlemen,

In 1975 I purchased my very first Smith and Wesson revolver, It was the Model 37 Chiefs Special Airweight, and yes I do still have it and is still one of my very favorites!
I must add I have added quite a few more Smiths to my collection since!

Regards,
LnL

No but I have the first two Smiths my Dad bought. A 4-50 shipped K38 and a 17-2 from '62.

Yep, a Model 1917 given to me about 20 years ago by my recently deceased father-in-law. It was his father's service revolver when he was a pursuit pilot in France in 1918.

Yes.

My (late) father bought me a S&W Model 28-2 (6") as a gift when I got out of the Army in 1976. I practiced with it at least twice a week while I attended college. When I attended the Academy, I was issued a Model 28-2 just like it (except for the agency's name stamped on the sideplate) and I scored Master with it. I carried my issued revolver until my agency went to autopistols. I was allowed to buy my service revolver and I bought the Model 28-2 agency commemorative so now I have three.

The last gun I'd sell is the one my Dad gave me.

Can't remember if the 642 was first or my police trade-in 66 was. I bought them around the same time. I had been more into Colts and semi-autos in general, so I was a bit late getting into the Smiths.

Still have these.
