DO YOU THINK.....

Back To The Range

A friend and I went to public land for some plinking. He'd just acquired a .22lr revolver, so that needed wringing out. Plus,
I brought .22's and the S&W 10-5. At 25 yards, it was at least as accurate as the rimfires. Recoil with wadcutters is similar.
Wouldn't you just know it, the magnas came in the mail
while I was out. They need testing, and refinishing.
Butt looks smaller now. TACC1

Congrats on the good looking Model 10 and no you are not the first with that wake up call.

Well, there ya go! Found some grips on the Forum, and thanks
to Mag-Num, got them refinished. I don't know the right
name for the grips, presentation, target, service?
First time I've seen worm-holes in stocks. REALLY nice
to shoot!
Got my eyes peeled for a Rd. Butt model. Hope that finding
stocks/grips goes as well as it did for this gun. TACC1

A former armorer friend of mine thought the trigger was
a little Too nice. He replaced the strain-screw with a
proper one, and suggested that the main-spring may
have been altered. I still am amazed at how nice the trigger
is, compared to the j-frames I've got.
I ended up with three more sets of stocks/grips. They're
no magnas, and don't feel like they give good control.
I'm a happy camper with this gun! TACC1
