Looking at shooting sticks for a .30-30 for whitetail season. Grass is very tall so definitely can't shoot prone or sitting. Anyone have any experience using the simple sticks that you hold in a X with your non-dominant hand? I don't want to drag around a big tripod. 200 yds max with a 1-4X scope. Thanks.
