Saw a used but tight one. Serial number C775902. Came with Pachmayr T grip adapter. DOB?

Blue. Kind of worn, but very tight. Court Officer gun. No rust that I can see.

Got the gun. He did 10% off so $243 out the door. It's completely disassembled and soaking in Automatic transmission fluid now. Probably didn't need it, but the 10-8 I did that to came out fantastic. Anybody with a DOB closer than 63-65? Thanks.

I've got a 10-6 4" with SN C 6039XX that I have dated for 1962. SN range listed in the 4th edition of the SCSW for the years '63 - 65' is between C622700 and C810532. It's just a SWAG but your's is most likely assembled in 1965. That assumption is based on simple math of dividing the total numbers made during those three years by three. That would put yours in the last year of the three.

Of course, no telling if the assembly was divided up that way over the three year period. It is still likely that yours falls into the last year of the three listed for the period, I think? Just my swag!

When I got the S-W 4th edition, I was mesmerized for two days, I couldn't lay it down. The best 42 dollars I ever spent.

It comes out of the ATF this weekend. Will put back together and post some pics. The is zero wiggle of forward/ rearward movement of cylinder
