dob help please

I have a 36-1, serial J4566xx, with Pachmyer's on it. It cleaned up and is 99% shape. No box, no papers, but got it for $100 a while back. Has been sitting in safe, and now that I have a 25-2 and a 29-2 it decided it should come out of the safe.

Any idea of the DOB?
Current value?
What sort of grips should it be wearing?

This serial number would be vintage 1976-1977. It most likely came with magna service stocks either round or square butt depending on the configuration of the revolver. In my area, retail in a gun store might be $350 or so.
