It has been a while since we have had a thread on dumb things we did or came close to doing. Here's one of mine:
Quite a few years ago, I bought a Colt Officers Model in .32. At the time, there were a number of these available for about $80. I don't remember exactly, but I couldn't have bought it if it was much more. I bought it with intention of having it rechambered for .32 WCF. Always wanted a target sighted .32, but never got around to getting the work done. Of course it went down the road in some kind of a dumb trade. I wonder what it is worth now, and how much less if I had the work done.
I know I'm not the only one who has done or nearly done something stupid!
