Does anyone remember?

These 22 caliber pistols were single shot (all 22 rounds could be used.) manufactured in the early 50s and kind of odd looking but of a very sturdy construction. Did anyone own one? I would like to find a box or a holster that goes with it?!......(I think they were made for the younger generation of that time?)

Not sure from your post if you know the model, but it is the Knockabout, from the same company that manufactured nice air rifles. A Google search shows the box to be a bright red one, but nothing showed for correct holsters. Neat little gun.

The correct spelling is Knocabout and I saw one for sale with box for $895.00. Google it using both spellings and you'll find more info.

I remember seeing one with a holster that was probably made for it, never saw a box. I'd check the internet gun auction sites and eBay. There have been other postings here about the Sheridan Knocabout in the past. An ingenious stamped metal design, and there was an early German semiauto pocket pistol made on the same principle, but I don't remember what it was called.
