Does S&W still make the model 40?

The carbon steel model 40 Centennial with the old style grip safety was reintroduced in 2007 but was dropped from the product line up in 2012
The Centennial design is still in production in stainless steel as the model 640 and in Scandium alloy as the model 340 and in Aluminium alloy as the models 442 and 642. These do not have the old style grip safety

You can still find them out there. Brought one home today looks like it was a safe queen.
