Does this part belong here?

I bought my 66-1 about thirty years ago and sold it to my brother about fifteen years ago. Bought it back last year at which time he could not find the box. I never attached any importance to the box, tools and papers till I started coming here. So I badgered him into looking for the box until he found it. This is like seeing it all for the first time to me.

The box is in perfect condition and all the papers and tools are there. Also included is a Helicoil that is 1/2" outside diameter and 3/8" long. My question, is this something that came with the kit and goes with the gun?

There is no place on an M66 thatneeds a helicoil THAT large to repair!

No doubt it somehow fell into the box and was forgotten.

Thanks JT. That's what I thought but I needed clarification. I have never been inside one of these revolvers.
