It allows me to put a blue steel pistol wrapped in Saran Wrap into
a wet holster and not worry about the blue steel rusting.

If I could be really sure there would be no wicking of water to the
steel I would have used water.

Having said that, just because I'm paranoid, doesn't mean they
aren't out to get me

Just ordered a Hume JIT (Yaqui style) for my 629PC UDC snub. Anyone else use one of these for their large frame snub?

Don Hume is total junk and does not stand up and are way overpriced! They don't even make most of their holsters today! Yup, you guessed it...Made in China! Let the buyer beware!

Proof, or are you just a troll? Oklahoma Leather Products now owns the Don Hume brand and makes all their products in the USA.

My humble opinion is different, and I offer it to balance the one above, not to argue. Everyone has an opinion and are entitled to it, and YMMV. I have a Hume on my belt right now with my Sig Ultra Compact. I would not trade it for anything right now as it has served me quite well for quite some time, and just seems to get better with age (unlike me).
