Spring forward, fall over

It's one of the reasons I may never move there. Having been raised at 52° North, I find it very disturbing that the sun goes down by 2000 even in the summer.

Washington has voted for no more spring forwards (Idaho too), has to be approved by congress. Personally I hope it happens, silly switching back and forth

Usually up well before daybreak between the time change and an overcast morning I felt like a real layabout putting my feet on the floor at the ungodly late hour of 0715.

Agree to a point. But sometimes in August it's nice to have it cool off to 100 degrees by midnight rather than 110.

Well in our household most devices reset themselves as the time changes.
With that said I do have a old clock alarm/ radio on night stand, it has a "you set clock". Microwave, coffee pot, thermostat for furnace need a update.
The stand by Generac generator will now be at the right time.
It turns itself on every Wednesday at 2 pm to do a self test, clock has been off for a hour the last few months as I never change that one. Now back on real time!
