I have shot 'dillers with everything from .22lr to 12 gauge shotgun to 7.62x39. Ain't had a bullet "bounce off" one of the little stinkers yet. Interestingly, In my experience, .22 mag deflates the little boogers better than most anything else I have tried. One of my fb friends linked to this story in a website called TheDodo.com. In the comments, I told how destructive 'dillers are to pastures, lawns, crops, gardens, etc., and related how I liked the .22 mag round for shooting them. I was immediately roundly excoriated, one poster hoped I contracted every cancer known to man, another said she hoped next time I shot one, the bullet would ricochet and hit my manhood. These folks ain't kidding! I then told them how I had my best 'diller hunting success while spraying Roundup on my fence lines. That really set them off.:D
