One episode that I watch for laughs......
I can remember watching the original thirty minute B&W Dragnet episodes in the '50s when they weren't reruns. There weren't many TV channels at the time and few program choices. We sort of liked just about everything then, including Dragnet, but it hasn't fared well over time. I've tried watching a few of the old episodes in recent years, but they just don't have it.
...is the 'Blue boy The LSD Story' episode from 'Dragnet 1968. It's like watching 'Reefer Madness'.
But I really do enjoy the older shows.

I think my favorites are old 'Perry Mason' shows, 'Alfred Hitchcock' and 'Green Acres'. Andy Griffith is always good and I can rewatch them without getting tired of them. "Naked City" is cool. I lOVE anthology shows.
We've seen some old 'Gong Shows', saw Paul Reubens in an early incarnation. And I got a kick out of the 'Unknown comic'.
Some "Lost in Space" are interesting, especially the older ones but I draw the line at the 'carrot man' that was going to take over the planet.
Of course 'Star Trek'.
We usually watch 'Svengoolie' because we love the old movies and he tells a lot about the background and actors.
The Twilight Zone, but the tend to show the same episodes over and over. Gotta dig for some good ones.
The Honeymooners. I didn't realize there was an 'Alice' before Audrey Meadows, who's my favorite. Her dead pan sarcasm is GREAT. And Art Carney always cracks me up.
