I have a 908 i was looking over. I noticed that the drawbar seems to have a horizontal groove that appears to be a machining mark of some kind on the inside of the drawbar surface. At first i thought it was a crack but it is so uniform that i think it is a machining mark of some kind. Anyone else notice this. It is located where the mag insertsin the draw bar. I think i have a pic I'll post later.

The marks are similar to these ones on the inside surface of the bar

I can see the marks. Wondered if they are normal. I drew an arrow.

The drawbar on my 3913 looks the same. I doubt that it's a problem since it works well and has for some time.

Thanks for the picture. Always good to have a reference.

Thanks for the reply Dave. That's not a pic of my draw bar but I found it online and it is similar to what I see on mine.

I didn't want to jack around with mine by trying to get a better look at it by taking the pistol apart so thought I'd post.

Machining marks in that area aren't uncommon on drawbars, especially from an older production period like that pictured.
