Dreams dashed

The first two times I played Fla lotto, I won $120 ea time.
I got four out of six numbers Twice. My desire to play hasn't changed.
I might spend twenty dollars a year in lotto now. I am not hooked and it's not a substitute for my retirement. I make sure to donate more to my Church than the State.
I like to dream of hitting it big but I don't budget my time and money trying to win.
I might play $5 quick pick and it Depends on the Pot.

Papa

I would have spent the money on a philanthropic project...Holding a real life bare knuckle death match boxing tournament in Zanzibar(or some other exotic vaguely lawless place) ala a Jean Claude Van Damme movie. Sure, Bill Gates has money, but he doesn't hold gladiatorial death matches, now does he?

By the way, are John Merrick's remains on the market again?

IF I won the lottery it would probably pay a dollar a year for a million years!

I would have just lost it all to fast women, slow horses, old bourbon, and the Gorilla's entire inventory.

I should be eligible for a special prize. I bought $10 worth, five sets of numbers. I did not have even ONE number of the winning numbers in any of my five chances. The odds of that have to be high. I think maybe the gods were telling me that I will NEVER, EVER, win a lottery so stop wasting my money. I only had modest plans for winning anyway. Just buy a small island in the Caribbean, fortify it, move there and never look back.

I heard Mark Cuban comment that if you weren't happy before winning the lottery you weren't going to be happy after you won. I'm inclined to agree with him.

Personally, I think the lottery is the poor man's voluntary tax. Thank you very much for your donation.

If I won the lottery, the most enjoyment I would have would not be from the money, but would be by the entertainment from the parasitic cockroaches that would be swarming around trying to share my good fortune.

I would have just lost it all to fast women, slow horses, old bourbon, and the Gorilla's entire inventory.

And wasted the rest of the money?

Similar to sasu, my oldest brother taught me,

"The lottery is a tax on the mathmatically challenged."
