Not bent, but more likely developed a burr where the edge or end hit the pavement.
Examine it under good lighting, and look for a deformed edge on the axle that goes into the frame. If you do find a burr, you can easily stone it off or use a strip of abrasive cloth backed with a flat stick of wood to polish it off. Make sure that the correct yoke retention screw back into the sideplate. The wrong screw can cause the yoke to be hard to open too.
