Is it ok to dry fire a 18-4 22lr.i know its generally a bad idea but this revolver deosnt seem to have the issues the rest of my 22lr's have. I appreciate the help in advance and thanks.

There is a stop, which combined with the counterbore on the chamber, which prevents the firing pin from impacting the edge of the charge hole. I always dry fired my Model 18, and never had any issues. In addition, the paper instruction sheet that came with the K22 and the 22 Combat Masterpiece recommended that the owner "practice dry shooting with empty gun," or language to that effect.
Put in some spent casings. 2 layers of brass will soften the hammer fall. Joe
