From a 4" .357 mag revolver I'd expect between 1,200 to 1,250 fps using 7.6grs of Unique if lit off by a WSP standard primer. The Sierra manual lists 7.6 grs of Unique at 1,250 fps and I've found their velocities to be very close when I substitute Rem bulk bullets and fire them from a 4" S&W M66.

7.6grs happens to be the lightest load Sierra lists for Unique in the .357 with the 125gr bullet.

I am loading between 8.7 & 9.6 grns of Unique,using REM 125SJHP,Lee has them moving around 1500fps.I am using them in my S&W 686+ VERY ACCURATE LOAD,1"7shot groups at 15yds.
