Duracell/Coast HP7 flashlights

Bought a case of the top shelf Coppertop batteries on Amazon. Turned out to be a problem and many of them leaked. The manufacturer explained these batteries should never have been sold retail. I was sent $40 in coupons which was very generous.
Anyway, 2 Coast HP7 flashlights I have were damaged from the leakage and stopped functioning. I sent them back to coast and received 2 replacements complete with batteries.
These are good quality, reasonably priced flashlights from a standup manufacturer.

Glad your lights were taken care of. I have never cared for the copper tops. I prefer Energizer.

Did buy a Coast flashlight several months back. Very bright with 440 lumens. Takes 4 AAA batteries and I like the fact you can adjust the beam. The LL Bean 300 lumen metal flashlight is also a good one but not beam adjustable. However does have a luminous handle which glows in the dark for easy location.
