Dyersburg, TN Gun Show this weekend

It was a so-so kind of show. Not great, but not so bad as to gripe about. It did spread out into two medium sized buildings. But for the most part was the usual overpriced guns and junk.
I didn't buy anything and I don't think Barner did either. But I was only there Saturday. It was a 75 mile drive for me and I just didn't see it worth going back on Sunday
For a town that hasn't had a gun show in several years, I was surprised at the light turn out. There wasn't much of a crowd. Of course the weather was really nice, so I suspect many people were enjoying outdoor activities instead.
Barner did sell a few guns. Some .22 rifles and one inexpensive handgun on Saturday. Not a lot of money, but he did make a profit.
I, on the other hand, got completely skunked! For guns I only brought two old Savage pistols to sell and honestly would have been surprised if one had sold. But I did have a bunch of odds and ends on the table at low prices just to get rid of. Unfortunately, I didn't sell anything. This is the first time that's ever happened to me. I usually at least cover my gas. :(
Oh well, I did enjoy the company and talked to a lot of really nice folks. So I had a good time. ;)
Hopefully, Lee will get in here later and tell us how Sunday went.

Sunday was very slow. we kept waiting for the after church crowd but they all went out to eat I guess. picked up a Damascus blank and some spalted maple blanks for handles. if it turns out okay i'll post a picture later. did make one trade with another vendor but otherwise a slooooooow day. lee
