E series refinishing

I recently purchased a used 1911TA E series in stainless. It has a few light marks on the slide, nothing major however it has a quite disturbing idiot mark. Being a perfectionist I usually wouldn't have bought a gun with such an issue, however the price was so unbelievable I couldn't say no. Does anyone have an approximate idea of how much S&W would charge to do a refinish on it?

A trip through a bead-blaster should take care of the smaller scratches, but refinishing in Cera-Kote or something like that may be more your taste. You can always send their Customer Service department an email and ask them directly.
