I just checked it out. Man do you ever need a lot of patience waiting to see something. I want to see the eagle babies!!!!!

i was watching the hays bald eagles from near pittsburgh. unfortunately, they lost both of their eggs this year after successfully hatching 3 last year.

i was fortunate enough to see the first eaglet hatch last year.

I was watching when the third egg hatched. The eagles at Harmar had no viable eggs either this year :(

A breeding pair has been in a pine tree along a busy road near a middle school down here since 2008. First in Broward Co. in quite sometime, at least since DDT was banned in the early 70's. They're gathering material and ready to breed, I hope.

Many thanks for posting this!! The male just flew in with a squirrel. He pulled off the fur and is feeding meat to the chicks. Happening right now..............10:40 EST.

Still watching and the babies are getting big. The adults are gone for longer periods of time now. They've been bringing back food but seem to like eating the old fish that have been buried in the nest for a few weeks. Some is kind of disgusting. That last fish brought in was doing a lot of flopping around and the Momma had to grab it and kill it before it fell out of the nest. I wonder how long before the small ones are on their own.

I have been watching it for the last three or four weeks now, at first I thought one of the chicks might not make it, she seemed to be feeding one more than the other.

I noticed that too Don. Also caught the stronger of the two beating the weaker with his wings several times. Thought he was going to be a goner. Good to see it pull through the tough patch.

My daughter has been keeping up with their progress as well. She teaches high school english and her students are watching too. She was also concerned about the smaller one and nicknamed it Coors because it looks drunk and just seemed to fall over wherever it was and just laid it's head down anywhere. It does seem to be catching up and fights back when the other one bullies him. Looks like they'll both survive.

Another good eagle-cam is in Humbolt County, California -

No chicks yet but two eggs incubating. You can watch mom rotating the eggs periodically. You do have to sit through a short commercial when you log on but its worth it.

There is also a great osprey-cam at -

Osprey Cam

also no chicks yet but two brown eggs that should hatch soon

They are growing fast, they are already changing color, this morning they were walking around the nest, notice the size of the feet.
