Does anyone here have these grips on their J frame? If so how do you like them and how well do they fit the gun i.e. any fitment issues like the grips being loose?

I have a 340PD as my EDC and read the scandium frames are vary from their steel counterparts and it can cause fitment issues with grips that otherwise fit a steel J frame fine. Anyone here have this experience? Thanks for any feedback.

They fit my Ruger LCR well. No issues with it being loose.

I have Altamont grips that are great, also. They are on my Kimber.

I have only had Hogue on my other S&W revolvers, though J frame up to X frame.

I bought these off of eBay, they had a couple of sets, wish I had bought both. They are top notch. Fit is fine. Shown here on my police trade in 640-1:

I have a set of smooth SS grips on my 640 Pro. Love them...now. I bought them from Eagle at the last NRA conference; as with my other 2 sets of SS grips, the fit was laughable. This set stood proud of the back strap and bottom of the grip frame about 1/16”. But it was nothing a long life sanding and True Oil couldn’t fix.

I have pairs on J, K/L, and N frames. they are great for concealment, but not much fun on an extended range day. The pair shown on the 58-29 are just plain brutal with full house 44 Magnum rounds.

The fit has been fairly good on everything that I have tried them on. I can not bring myself to put them on the 340sc 10.3 OZ of 357 Magnum is fairly hard on the hands with the dainty Houge stocks.

I am not going to be a guinea pig, and add harder material, sharp checkering, and narrower profile to an already beastly J frame.

Good luck in your endeavors.

This 340sc is sticking with the factory rubber.

The Eagle's aren't hand fitted, but suit me fine. These have a lot of miles on them.

I have major nerve damage in both hands where I cannot feel certain materials like the Rubber Hogue grips. I use KSD Grips on my 627-8 Revolver. Being a firmer material I can grip them better and also like the looks of them much better.

I have a couple pair of altamonts, but my shooting buddy uses the eagle grips. I like them and they seem to fit just fine.

I like the Altamont boot grips I put on my Model 36 "Chief's Special." Look good and fit great. My shot groups sure improved with the boot grips over the factory grips.

I love the eagle secert service grips I have many wood and g10 boot grips. Eagle I am sorry to say are not made well there to inconsistent I had one set mint. The four other set no good even Karl Sokol from CMS told me he could only do so much to fit them up. I was so mad I broke them with a hammer. Ahrends the best for pocket carry and Hogue makes nice wood boot grip NO WAIT in stock. I love the ahrends wood boot grip the Hogue was a little fat on bottom my opinion for pocket carry maybe. Secret Service is made in india were they have metric system and no real guns to fit the grips up I was told by very reliable source. I love Eagle but for the money it should be perfect there not some are , so it's **** shot not worth we all work hard for money Eagle should give you good product. Plus I like to buy American made stuff now to go on my American gun my 2 cents.

I like the profile of those... They remind me of the stock Magna's with Tyler-T's attached in fore to aft profile. They look comfortable!
