Early 50s Paperwork

I'm looking for the paperwork info that would
have come in the boxes for a HD or a pre 27
N Frame model(s)?
Possibly helpful hints brocure but what else
for the models in question?
Any info appreciated..

This is the pre war package. The HD wouldn't have the SAT:

Early post war would be the same paperwork but with post war tools and for the pre 27, the 3" SAT.

Helpful Hints; Perhaps NOX Anti Rust paper; black SAT, swab, brush enclosed in brown tissue paper; not sure about cleaning rod?

The accessories and Helpful Hints brochure shipped with a 44 Target revolver in November 1955. The revolver itself could have been wrapped in Nox-rust paper of some type or in brown tissue paper like the accessories are wrapped in. Click on the photo for a better look.

By the way, notice the Helpful Hints brochures have different photos on the front. So there's different vintage brochures.

Also the sight adjustment tool (SAT) had quite a few variations post war; especially in the 1950's.

Here's a brief breakdown that covers the vintage period of your interest. They are in the order of their usage albeit without the specifi years of usage and there is a lot of overlap:

Here is a photo of most of the paperwork/tools for a December 1955 .357 Magnum (Pre-27), including the vapor paper:





I believe that the tools came wrapped as a bundle in the brown tissue paper.

This is a board I made up of what would be in a HD box. The warranty cards are pre 1960 with no zip code and post 1960 with a zip code.

So it seems a 1953 issue pre 27 would likely
have the blued driver not the natural knurled metal type?
From Bill the pre zip card is correct also.
I Appreciate learning from both of you. The brass thread type tools are correct?
Where could I find a couple of the pre zip warranty cards for the HD and the pre 27?
