1991-1992.
Some may have seen another interesting, recently auctioned/sold early PC .40 cal on GB. I hadn't seen anything like it, (with my limited knowledge,) so off line I contacted Sevens. Of course his input was and is appreciated, well mostly except when he encourages me about another one.
My question was about the use of a 2nd gen frame and the different, (to me,) controls. It has a PCZ prefix, (not XSP,) and not BRI even though it's so Brileyesk. The comparison is obvious.
I found some similar .40 and 9mm builds but they didn't have the comp. Funny thing is, (to me,) is that the one image I've attached was delivered Feb 1992. My Comp 40 was delivered to Lew Horton Feb 1992. I guess my amazement is that the PC was using both 2nd and 3rd gen frames at the same time.
Imperfect hand cut checking is something I like. Someone actually spent personal time/attention and didn't just have a computer controlled device do it.
My text on images.
