With the earlier than usual arrival of spring this year Mother Nature is really putting on a show. Our azaleas, fig tree, dogwood tree, and camellia bushes are in full bloom or well on their way. My wife is busy planting flowers and already wants to put out tomatoes. It's still February, this is strange weather for sure.

Due to all the rain we've had, our camillas actually have more flowers than leaves! The daffodils are blooming and early fruit trees, which isn't good considering we are still getting pounded with rain. I think it will be a bad year for many crops. CA produces about 50% of the produce for the US so we might see higher prices and limited availability for certain things.
