Eating More Vegetables

I was told to eat more vegetables. Does hot air popped popcorn count as a vegetable? I am fairly certain I can also count the hops in beer too. This seems preferable to counting catsup as a vegetable.

Of course those are veggies! Raw veggies? Bah, only savages eat raw food!
Remember the old TV show ALF? ALF: "salad ain't food Willy, salad is what food eats."

Helpful hint. Almost all veggies are tasty after being battered and deep fried!

My dog eats nothing but meat, no fruit and no vegetables, he never goes to the gym and sleeps all day and there isn't an ounce of fat on him and he's all muscle.
Works for him and it works for me. So far so good.

Each corn silk strand is an unattractive flower’s pistol through which pollen transmit sperm. The ovary of each flower develops into a corn kernel. Botanically, if the ovary of a plant develops into a structure that helps distribute the plant’s seeds than that structure is a fruit. Fruit can’t count as a vegetable. It’s the hop’s flower that is used brewing beer so I am fairly certain drinking another one won’t count either. However, your arithmetic is at least no worse than counting catsup since tomatoes are also a fruit, and counting catsup was good enough for the government, so have another beer.

Are you telling me I have to switch from beer to Vodka to get my vegetable quota?

And all you Forum vegans are enjoying heavy doses of tomato sauce to fill the daily requirement?

Yeah, go for it. Be sure and have your heir list your guns on the forum for sale, after you drop dead.

About 75% of the vegetables we get come from countrys where peeing and pooping in the fields is the accepted norm. I'd like to know that at least my veggies came from pee n poopers that spoke English.
I've seen where Chinese Tilapia farmers hold chickens over the tanks of fish to feed them with chicken poopy. I'm going back to Soylent green.

I figure if I mix that fiber powder in my beer I am getting enough fiber and I can produce enough methane to heat a small house. My wife place piles of green and yellow stuff and tells me to eat it. if I do eat it she does not nag.

She thinks I haven't noticed she is serving more chicken. I remind her that chicken does not taste like steak or pork chops.

If GOD wanted us to be vegatarians, he would have made ALL of our teeth flat and round like a cow's.

If God didn't want us eating animals why did He make 'em outta meat? :D

FWIW pizza counts as a vegetable for school lunches. ;)

Chocolate is a Vegetable: chocolate is derived from cocoa beans. Bean = vegetable. Sugar is derived from either sugar cane or sugar beets. Both are plants, which places them in the vegetable category. Thus, chocolate is a vegetable. To go one step further, chocolate candy bars may also contain milk, which is dairy, and nuts, which are protein. So candy bars are a health food.

Oh, and I'm a proxy vegetarian. I eat things that eat vegetables.

According to the Federal School Lunch Program Ketchup is considered a veggie. Just put some extra on your fries and you've got twice your veggie quota.

That wouldn't be a problem for me as people usually comment "I see you like some fries with your ketchup!" And its the truth. When I go to Whataburger, which I don't do very often because I have no self control, I'll get six of the ketchup tubs, especially if they have the Spicy Ketchup! That's good stuff. Anyway, they no longer put it on the tables, you have to ask for it. I'll get raised eyebrows when I ask for six, but usually they'll give it to me. I could maybe get by with five, but with my OCD, I try & avoid uneven numbers. I'm only half kidding here!:eek::D:confused:
