I have had a 100% positive feedback rating on ebay forever. I sold an item. Buyer received it, didn't like it. "Item not as described", according to him. First thing, before contacting me, he opened a "case" in the resolution center. While we were "working things out", he left me a negative feedback. I agreed to refund him 100% when I receive it back in the condition I shipped it in. The item is on it's way back to me right now. I plan on refunding him, as promised.
Just wondering....if I refund him, through the ebay "Resolution Center" system, using PayPal....is the transaction "null and void"?
Will the negative feedback automatically disappear? Can I ask ebay to change or delete his negative?
He said that he would revise the feedback once he received his refund....can that really be done? And how can I trust that he really will?
Been selling on ebay for years. Never had a buyer like this. Need advice. Not sure how this all works. I'd like to get my feedback fixed. Thanks.
