Listed some magazines last night and they were immediately removed, Apparently they don't like magazines over 10 rounds, or any parts for AR15's, AK47's, or any other of the so called "assault" rifles People's ignorance continue to amaze me

eBay has had a ban on those items for quite a while. You need to read the rules to avoid surprises. Sometimes a disallowed item sneaks through, especially if you use "buy it now" and price it to sell.

I used to sell all kinds of parts. I would note at the bottom
"THIS PART IS NOT NECESSARY FOR THE FUNCTION OF THE WEAPON AND AS SUCH DOES NOT VIOLATE E-BAY POLICY."
It ALWAYS worked.

Yes, Ebarf sucks but sometimes its the only place a person can get what they want. Ever try to buy or even find a Colt Woodsman mag or a H-S HD Military magazine. I have bought both there when they were available nowhere else.

That's already happened. I think it was after Columbine , when the shooters said they bought their mags on EBAY , they forbid the sales of any magazines. Now they allow mags up to 10rds. Several people are selling higher cap mags by claiming they "holds 10 rounds".
Now it seems that the wording of your ad means more than what you're selling.
I listed an AR/M4 collapsible stock/forend/grip set and they pulled it as 'restricted items'. Relisted it as "original Bushmaster furniture" and it listed till sold.

Same here, it is funny how they state they are neutral on the situation but do not allow assault weapon related parts? It is a joke, mine were removed within minutes. Though i see more magazines that have been up for weeks.

I went through about 3.5 hours of actual on-phone time with multiple people there regarding 10-round 15-22 magazines. The excuses I got for the listing being removed were: 1-it is a part for an assault weapon and violated California state law, and 2-eBay has a zero-tolerance policy regarding listing magazines that look like that for sale.
So I calmly pulled up all the relevant info before calling EB customer service and educated them on California weapons law (apparently EB doesn't know the difference between centerfire and rimfire), then asked about the 57 other listings for the exact same item that I found during the time I was on hold. They told me they didn't care about the law, it was there own preference (so that's two contradicting statements), and all listings like that are flagged as soon as they are posted (however, when asked why several had about 3-6 hours left when the auctions were started multiple days earlier, I was only met with about 10 seconds of silence, then furious typing on the other end). I went through three different levels of incompetence before I finally got someone who was actually a bit helpful, and understood exactly what I was saying (a gun owner themselves, maybe?). Anyway, they took down all the 'evidence' (links to the California code and eBay policy) and told me they were sending it to the Listing Review Panel or whatever it's called. This happened early March and I was told to expect a personal call from someone on the Review Panel within 3 days. Here it is, now May 12th and so far not a whisper. Regardless, my account that was active for 9 years was closed at the end of the fourth day of no response.
Odd thing is, I still get the generic "Tell us about your experience in this survey" emails from them. So...I tell them Sort of like Ron White's bit about tires... "I promised Sears I'd tell this story on stage every night until the lawsuit settled."

I get it, it's eBay, not jasonBay, they make the rules. What miffed me was how they act holier than thou, then scramble to make stuff up as they go when you catch them on having double standards. That's what you get when dealing with a liberal California based company though I suppose. I walked away from that one a bit wiser.

I had a listing removed a few months ago for the same reason. Oddly enough, I had sold one the week before. They were 10 round magazines.
Hum... you can't refuse to allow anyone of any race, etc. to rent a room in a hotel simply because you don't like the color of their skin. Reckon that sort of legal thinking doesn't apply to something like ebay. Probably some well founded legal mumbo jumbo justifies it. But, if that same sort of thing were used primarily to exclude some other group that is held more in favor by the media... the left, etc., got to wonder how long it'd be before that particular sort of thing were ruled illegal.

I have found some great items in outstanding condition, including some obscure and vintage holsters and magazines for my single stack first, second and third gens.

Years ago, I'd list holsters on ebay....and I'd picture them with a gun in them to show the fit. I'd mention in the description, "Auction is for holster only. Gun shown for demonstration purposes only" or something to that effect. I doubt that they'd even allow that nowadays.
