Eight inches here much more comming.

That's impressive! How's the roof??

The roof has been some work. Snow must be walked uphill to "daylight". Tons of labor has created a bowl that traps snow. Fortunately the view and sun are great so it's not as bad as it might seem to be there plugging away. Until you've shoveled I think it's hard to gauge the weight. Once you've shoveled you know there's the weight of numerous pickup trucks over your head- which is motivating. There's been no keeping up this winter. That pic is a rare sunny day. I focus on the mid-span of supporting glu lam beams. Good exercise for skiing.

We got about 4 inches and expecting another inch or 2 before it's over. The little town of Ashby Ma about 34 miles northeast of us got 27 inches and the whole town is without power. Crazy New England weather.

I can't compete with 5spotter's conditions, which is massively impressive. However, we got buried pretty good a few days ago, with another "AR event" storm starting tonight. I had to dig my way out of the garage to get the snowmobile out, rake the area around Elon's disk on the roof, then I looked out to the garage to see if there was still smoke coming out of the chimney and suddenly realized the chimney was nowhere to be seen. Back to the roof rake. I can't imagine dealing with the CA-style burials.

600" here this season and we're ready for a break. A 53 year old snowfall record might be broken with what's in our forcast.

I had no idea what snowfall was till I looked at the wall in Donner pass that showed how deep the snow that fell that year would have been. Like looking at a 3-story house.

Stay safe.

12" to 15" of wet snow here in Dutchess County NY.
Fortunately only the top thin branches landed in the back of my truck - no damage.
That Japanese maple took a beating though.

additional!

Well as the OP let me say, we got about 18'' yesterday. Weather lately has been warm and the necessary plowing tended to rip up my mostly gravel driveway. Course I'm not alone in that destruction just a quick drive around I saw many other driveway projects coming up, in the spring. When the weather is better will get 1 or 2 ten wheedlers of gravel and use the tractor to restore. Hey, fecal matter happens.

I still have a lot of tune up work to do today. Going to use the bucket on the tractor and widen some spots and add to other hard to get to with a plow areas.

Was on generator for about 7 hours yesterday and were again starting to get more winds as I type this.

My driveway and lawn look like I was invaded by roto tillers.

Peekskill NY Where I work snowed all day yesterday and not a flake stuck on the ground. 2 Miles away in Cortlandt they have about 8+ inches.. I live 25 miles away and only 3inches of heavy slush, all should be gone by tomorrow weirdest Nor'easter I have ever seen.

Checkerboard weather for sure.

I live sort of in the Hudson River valley but 800' above sea level on the side of a mountain. So both of those influence what we get. My son lives about 2 miles away but higher in elevation, he got about 6'' more that I got.
