broken hand, serial numbers ran from emk001-emk2500 . 2500 manufactured in 1985. Deluxe Edition ran from emk001-emk100,complete with ivory magnas at two to three times the value. as to value, I would only guess.mine to me is priceless.kframe man

Standard version sells for around $800. The deluxe version for around $1500. The difficulty with commemoratives is they sell fast in the beginning, but once the demand is satisfied, it is hard to sell the remainder. EMK0045 is shown below.

I have never even considered a commemorative before , but i would love that one . I suppose they would decrease in market value a lot if they were fired a bit .
If any body has one and has been itching to shoot it , wang off a few and email me the new reduced price . Go ahead and enjoy , shoot up enough to get it down around $750.00 . I plan on shooting it , and packing it in a Milt Sparks holster . Elmer Keith would have wanted it that way .

I am usually not into commemorative editions of any firearm, but I have to say the Elmer Keith Model 29 is one that I really do like. Nice photos above...absolutely beautiful revolvers.

Sorry to revive an old thread, but I'm curious. I've found a model 29 serial number EMK06xx at a local store, but it looks like a regular model 29--none of the art work in these great pictures.

Would this be the standard version?

It does come with a presentation wooden case.

Elmer Keith Commentrative 29-3 Ivory magnas

Just found a new E K 29-3 with ivory grips, the is one great looking gun. I believe the finish is better than the standard blue finish of this period,am I right ? I know I will never shoot it, this is a real keeper. Any update info would be appreciated.
