One of my all time favorite people. In 1995 I rode my Harley through
Salmon Idaho and talked with a old guy in a bar that knew Elmer.
Said he was the real deal. Honest as the day was long and would
help anybody in need.

What a coincidence that Elmer Keith moved onto a street named "Keith Ln."!
I was reading some of "Hell, I was there" yesterday. Cool to see the exact area where the stuff I was reading about happened. There's probably so much lead in the ground around there it changed the rotation of the earth.

Elmer Keith passed away in 1984. His family still owns the property. It's a fairly good size parcel from what I can see from the Hwy. I understand Elmer and his wife moved in the town of Salmon as they got older.

Thank you, No I didn't have it built, it is a 10 year old custom built home.
