yippee! Finally got my free promotion mags! Now I have 4 for my M&P 9c.

This is my "love-hate" gun. I love how it feels in my hand and its balance. I hate that tool in the grip-el cheapo, and then there's the sticky mag release button that stays disengaged unless you 'snap' it back into place.

Decisions, decisions. Sell or keep the gun? I guess I'll just have to hang onto it for a little longer and see how the new mags feed...

Why? If it's anything like the tool in the M&P fullsize, the design makes swapping the backstraps utterly painless.

Tell ya what, try swapping the grip strap on a Beretta PX4, and *then* tell me how much you hate the S&W design.

and then there's the sticky mag release button that stays disengaged unless you 'snap' it back into place.

THAT is a problem. If the burr or whatever isn't getting smoothed out, you should call S&W and either request a new mag release button/assembly, or ship it back to them for repair at their expense.

A toll free call to S&W will have it fixed in no time... then you can just love it...

I don't even use the tool any more unless I'm changing the grips. A Bic pen, small screwdriver, or anything else works just fine and I don't have to worry about getting that thing out of the frame.
