Good Morning,
I've discovered my 19-4 has a .010 cylinder gap and .005 end shake.
I admit to not 100% understanding the installation of the end shake bearings and how they work (I won't until I have the gun apart) but some places I have read imply that while they remove the end shake they increase the cylinder gap. Is this true? Obviously the last thing I need is more gap.
Am I better off trying to send this to S&W to fix both problems?
I wish the cylinder gap were lower but as long as that's within acceptable range I can live with it as the gun is only used for paper punching.
Thanks for your help,
Matthew
