Does anyone know any engravers to work on a 629-4. I have a project I am interested in pursuing.

Well, assuming this is not a trick question of some sort, what about Paul Piquette?
I don't have my FFL anymore so I don't take in engraving work,
but just as information, I never found the S&W Stainless revolvers any problem to work on. The 629 included.
I've cut 60's, 66, L frames, 63's, 629 and 657's.
Colt stainless semiautos can be a problem especially the slides. But it's not every gun or model. Some are especially hard,,others not.
But it's a good question to ask of an engraver before hand.
Most have a 'I won't work on Those' list if they've been around for any length of time.
