I have an older set of stag grips that need some repair (metal disc is starting to come off), what epoxy works well on elk stag?

epoxy for stag grips

My first choice would be Brownell's Acraglas resin, both as an adhesive and as a repair or filler material.

The readily available auto supply store 10 minute epoxies also work well.

The key to good adhesion is to thoroughly clean the surfaces before joining. I would use cotton tipped swabs and acetone to clean. Almost as good is isopropyl alcohol. Swab wet to remove all dirt and oil, and swab dry and allow to air dry for another 10 or 20 minutes.
