My experience has been the same. Bought mine in early January and have only put a few hundred rounds through it (don't track the round count that closely). No issues at all.
Love the 15 round magazines, bought seven more and have a total of eight since they also work in my two Shield Pluses. I can fire a lot of rounds with less time loading at the range.
I'm also very happy with the CT RAD micro green dot optic I put on it. It works well and didn't break the bank.
It's also my go to gun for dry fire exercises because of the easy racking. I use a Daxisonn laser cartridge and G-sight phone app. Dry firing really helps an old guy with grip and finger control.
