Has anyone actually seen an Evaluators marked shoulder holster?
Or even a picture of one? I have seen them mentioned several
times and have even seen an ad for them by Evaluators, but
never the actual item. I assume they were made by Heiser?

There are three different shoulder holsters with Evaluators Ltd. markings that I'm aware of. The only one suitable for FBI use was the Berns-Martin Lightnin' holster. The two that I'm familiar with that Heiser made were marketed to the US military. This one was designed by Lt. E.E. Wiggington of the US Navy with Evaluators.

This one saw use in the Korean War and Vietnam Nam, I've seen photos of pilots wearing them. Sorry about the photo quality.

I don't know what shoulder holsters Gen. Van Orden was referring to in the letter I posted but I'm looking into it.
