I had forgotten about this....
I saw these videos a while ago.

Apparently there is a thing called "throat whistling" where you whistle through your throat (hence the name - duh:D). I had never heard of this skill until I saw the clip.

Here is a video of a "Throat Whistler" in action:

Talk Show Mullet Whistler aka Mullets Got Talent LOL - YouTube

Pretty unique skill that the guy demonstrates.....

Now, check out the "Throat Whistler Re-dub":
Caution - swallow whatever you are drinking and put the drink down....;) :D

You just CAN"T get this stuff anywhere else!

I guess if someone had w a y more time on his hands than things to do, he could even learn to pass flatulence through his throat and make a low guttural sound while doing so.

The weirdness of the human species never ceases to amaze me.

Throat "singing"

Is that anything like Tibetan throat singing?

I looked up throat 'singing' in several cultures and all it sound like to me was grunting. I don't know what pleasure anyone could derive from that. Apparently they've never heard of Maria Callas or Judy Garland.:(
