Finally a 4 screw M48 4" bbl. Been looking for years to go with my 6" and two 8 3/8"ers. All 4 screws.
This one has a red ramp front, white outline rear, target hammer, and diamond walnut target stocks. The magnas in this pic have been replaced with the walnut target stocks. The gun was sold to me by a forum member. Big Larry,,

Is the muzzle blast noticeably greater with those 4" barrels? the 22 Mag can be a little rowdy. Regardless, the Model 48 has to be King of the Rimfires!

I have not shot my 4" or 6" but my 8 3/8" 48 is deadly accurate, that is with dancing beer cans all over the place. If you want massive muzzle blast try a 22 magnum jet 53!

W4, I have two Jets. A 6" and a 8 3/8". I have fired neither, but years ago, I won a turkey shoot with another I had. Yes, they are very loud. I bought my 6" because of the serial #. K 444444. Big Larry

I have a model 18-3 3T that I absolutely love, and about a year ago I found a matching 4" 48-3 to go with it. Shoots even better that the 18.

I have a pre M18, Combat Masterpiece, that I used to carry when riding the outback here on my 4 wheeler. Gone are those days, but I still have the Combat Masterpiece 22. Thanks, Big Larry
