All entries are recorded and numbered in the order they came in. I haven't decided yet how to do the drawing. May just have a neighbor pick a number without saying why. The random number generator is awfully high tech for an old Luddite like me.

I appreciate the generosity of this karma, but I already have a pocket knife that I like for special reasons and would ask NOT to be included in the selection process; others here would appreciate a new knife more.
My real reason for bumping up the reply count here is that I completely share the sentiments about the OP's character and contributions to the forum. In case you know him only from his public comments, you should know he's the same thoughtful guy in PMs that he is in open posts. We're lucky to have him here.

He's also probably the best writer on the forum. 'Ol shoulda is proof that having a teacher insist on diagramming sentences really works.

'Fraid not. You have to be famous or generous with your money to make colonel. It's a charitable organization I haven't the money to join. But I must thank you and David for your more-than-generous comments. I like it here. I try to contribute without being a windy old count-pounder.
