I bought a pair of S&W K Frame Round Butt Elk Horn Grips from Patrick. They are beautiful. Not only that, Patrick is a top notch guy to deal with. He answers all emails and phone calls.

10-4 to that!

As we all know around here, Patrick is always, always, ALWAYS first rate . . . both as a dependable person and as an artist in stag grips.

I liked a pair he sent me a photo of this week . . . that I bought the GUN they were on too! Then again, I think he knows what I like by now . . . and I'm a real sucker for stags on a nickle-plated Smith! Heck, I love 'em on a blued Smith too!!!

This will make my third set from him in less than a year . . . and I'm surely not done yet.

coltsr, if you get a chance, post a photo of your new stags! We'd all love to see 'um!

Soooo, where are the pix of these
supposed gripsters?!?!!

Ok,

WARNING: LOOKING AT EXECUTIONER EYE PORN CAN CAUSE BLINDNESS!

I'll start with my newest set, that's sold pending arrival of the funds:

On my M25-2 . . .

For my 1964 Model 36 no dash . . . a photo sent from Patrick to see if he made what I wanted before shipping (and he DID of course!) . . . and also how they arrive from him . . .

And on the M36, with big brother and a M37 still awaiting a killer set pretty soon . . .

AND FINALLY . . .

That new set (pictured first), on the nickle plated M19-5 Patrick showed 'em on. I'm getting them both . . . WOW!

I just got this set from Patrick last week. Just shot today with the grips, and boy do they ever feel great!

The thing I like about these grips is the taper built into them, as seen in this shot from below...

This "taper" allows for a fantastic feeling grip, as compared to factory grips.

I got these from Patrick a few weeks ago.
Can't say enough about the man, he is an artist in antler.

I have a question that maybe one of you knows the answer to...or maybe Patrick will chime in. What is the difference between elk stags (which is what I have, and believe is on the other guns in this thread), and MOOSE stags? Coloring? Bark? What is it? Patrick offers both elk and moose, but I don't believe I have seen what moose looks like. Thanks for your replies!
