Biden: Executive Actions Coming In Wake of Gun Bill Defeat

and this from ABC news

http://www.nbcnews.com/id/50414647/...-executive-orders-restrict-guns/#.UXB6oY72z_c

Its their move......but it seems to me that the Constitution means very little to the administration and the will of the People may not mean much to them either...so ....I will take a wait and see attitude.....But surrendering our Freedom, Our Constitution and Our Bill of Rights is not even a remote option. Never surrender, never quit and we are up for what ever is coming at us...we will defend the second amendment.....hopefully like we just did within the legal system that we are trying hard to respect. The harder they push....the harder we will push back. We will not be defeated.

Mr. Biden's statistical enhancement today:

A Look at Joe Biden?s Seriously Sketchy Gun Claim

Their continuation of over-reach and huffing is going to work against them with so many other legitimate problems this week. They're coming off like a bunch of angry children.

Lot's of previously squelched data coming out today to pander to the winning side, including a radical shift in the positive attitude that gun ownership actually makes a home and family safer.

First time the Conn crowd hasn't been paraded in months. All of Meisher's phony Youtube links have evaporated too.

I have teen-agers that act more mature and responsible than the current admin and crew.

Vigilance is a small price to pay for freedom...

Mods please lock thread. Old info.

By links in posts this appears to be old news not identified as such on Drudge.

Thanks to posting members for the info.

What kills me about their "sour grapes" attitude is that they've tried to shame their opponents into feeling they've done something terrible and heartless to the nation. I'm so sick of hearing how heartless and unfeeling I am because I own a gun (or two) and oppose this legislation. I'm tired of being told that I don't care about the victims or their families and that all I care about is the 2nd amendment and my guns. What I care about mostly is I don't want my family or myself to become a victim. I'm 62, have replaced hips and arthritis. My muscular strength has never been great, I can't run away and I can't fight off an attacker. That makes me a fantastic target for trouble. My concealed carry gun is my only means of self defense and the only equalizer that will keep me and my family from being victims. Why can't these idiots realizing that by trying to save lives they're putting a lot more lives in danger. I'm not against reducing violent crime but it has to be done right and not railroaded into action to satisfy someone's agenda or establish a legacy for the history books. As I've mentioned in other threads, I truly wish I had a solution for the problem but I haven't been blessed with that kind of wisdom.

Please encourage everyone you know to email/write their senators who voted "nay" on expanded gun control. We need to thank them and show our support for their decision.

The Left (Americans for responsible solutions) will be launching ad campaigns demonizing them.

Everyone should watch this from MSNBC tonight. This is what we are up against.

We do have some senators that are working very hard to protect and defend the Constitution...I am impressed with what Rand paul has done and is doing. He is definately on our side and is stirring the dust in Washington like I have never seen before. We need to have more like him that do understand the importance of having a well armed citizen population. "We the People" are the last line of defence for the Constitution and the Bill of Rights and "We" will not be bullied or denied our rights. I do all I can to support the NRA and I like the Second Amendment Foundation. This gun grab is making America Wake Up and we can get this country back...but we can not let up until we have our country back and we have a hard road ahead of us.....but Americans have always been up for a challange ...and this is but another speed bump in the road of life...never quit, never surrender and stand for Freedom and our Constitution....no other Country in the world has a constitution that protects the individual rightrs like the US Constitution.....but we do need to defend it.

It is funny how editing works to their advantage.

Thanks for the chuckles..
I'd like to see a push for more training, especially for new gun owners. I experienced and mildly chastised the way some of the "kids" were handling their guns at the range during a CPL class when the instructors were occupied. No rnd in the chamber may seem safe, but never pointing it at a non target is ALWAYS safe. IMO, the NRA should be doubling up on its core strength, which is a message of safety, training and character building through competitive shooting and other programs. The extremist stuff works during crisis but may erode their foundation with non gun owners over time by allowing them to be readily pigeon-holed as a fringe organization.
Alternate information and perceptions need to be offered and reinforced.

I'd like to add to this - I think that firearms education should be a priority. It seems that not so long ago boy scouts and summer camp attendees were instructed in the safe handling and sporting nature of firearms.

To me, it's one of those "life skills" that everyone should have (but few do anymore) like sewing, cooking, changing a tire, changing a diaper, etc.

There are some things that your smartphone just cannot do for you.

Do some research on Executive Orders (EO's). They're admin policies, and cannot be used as de facto legislation and they cannot violate the Constitution. It's a non-issue, and we need to stop biting on this red herring.

Telling us what we can have for rifles, magazines etc etc. also is an infringement on our second amendment....but that did not stop them from trying. Its only because we fight these things that they are stopped .......just because the are unconstitutional...does not mean the administration is not going to push their agenda. We need to remain viglient. The last time we had a "gun Ban" we did not fight it like we did this time...and they got their "Infringement" That was our fault....we can not allow that to happen again. If we allow it...they will "Infringe" as much as we allow, with no respect for the constitution. Feinstein is a good example...if she had her way...all guns would be confiscitated...she has made that statement. She is not the only one that would take our freedom if allowed....at least we are Awake this time.
This was not about Sandy Hook......it was about their agenda. I think all of us are for keeping guns out of ther hands of mentally disturbed people and peotecting our children....but nothing they have proposed so far...does anything to protect children....its not about protecting anyone, its about slowly disarming America...one step at a time. Not one more inch.

There so caught up in taking our rights away. They keep this up they are going to loose our entire country down the drain.
